Musanze

Musanze is Northern Rwanda’s tourism hub at the foot of the Virunga volcanoes, and the main base for gorilla trekking in Volcanoes National Park. In addition to guided treks with park‑approved rangers, visitors explore the volcanic Musanze caves, golden‑monkey forests, and nearby Burera/Ruhondo twin lakes. Book permits early.
